Apple Event 2024: Apple The most anticipated event of the year so far has just concluded with a series of announcements at the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event held in Cupertino, California. In addition to the highly anticipated iPhone 16 and new versions of Apple Look, the tech giant has announced the launch of the latest generation of AirPods. It has a sleek new high-tech design and comes with even more advanced features. For the first time, Apple streamed the event live on Apple’s official YouTube channel, launching the new AirPods 4, which Apple says should be the most comfortable version of the AirPods yet.
The new AirPods 4 are said to feature a smaller, lighter USB-C charging case with up to 30 hours of battery life. These earbuds are also said to include some sort of machine learning technology, allowing users to control Siri by nodding and shaking their heads, and voice isolation features that would cancel out any kind of background noise.
But one of the biggest changes is a new acoustic architecture, which results in richer bass and crisp highs, plus personalized spatial audio for an immersive listening experience. There will be two models of the AirPods 4: the regular AirPods 4 and a more expensive version with active noise cancellation.
Advanced charging and health features
In addition to Qi and MagSafe wireless charging, Apple It even updated its premium AirPods Max in midnight blue, violet, orange, and starlight. These earbuds now support USB-C charging.
One of the highlights that stole the show at the launch was that new health features were introduced to the AirPods Pro, along with Apple The H2 chip of . Other features include hearing protection that reduces loud noise to an appropriate decibel to protect the ears of its users. Ear cushions reduce ambient noise passively, while active noise cancellation further enhances hearing protection.
Apple It was also announced that Hearing Aid Mode will soon be available with AirPods Pro 2 in over 100 regions. This feature allows AirPods Pro to be customized as hearing aids through the results of a hearing test and provides a very practical solution for people with hearing problems through a software update.
