Arvind Kejriwal demands accommodation

AAP: After resigning from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party is discussing Arvind Kejriwal’s new residence. Kejriwal has said that he will vacate his present residence within 15 days and give up all the facilities he was enjoying as Chief Minister. The Aam Aadmi Party has demanded that the government provide new houses for Kejriwal’s safety. AAP MP Raghav Chadha said that Arvind Kejriwal is the leader of a national party and he is entitled to get accommodation from the government as per the Election Commission rules. In such a situation, the Central Government should immediately allot government accommodation to Kejriwal. In this regard, a letter has been written to the Director of the Union Ministry of Urban Development on behalf of the party. Currently, heads of recognised national parties in the country have been provided government accommodation in Delhi. In such a situation, it is necessary for the government to provide government accommodation to Kejriwal following these rules. Aam Aadmi Party leaders say that Arvind Kejriwal does not own any house in Delhi. In such a situation, he should be given a residence to meet workers and others.

The PR campaign will start from Janta Adalat at Jantar Mantar

Kejriwal, who was facing charges in the excise policy case, resigned from the post of Chief Minister after getting bail from the Supreme Court and handed over the reins of Delhi to Atishi. Kejriwal’s image has been tarnished by being in jail for five months. In such a situation, after resigning from the post of Chief Minister, he has started trying to reach out to the common people and will start from Jantar Mantar on Sunday. Kejriwal will organise “Janata ki Adalat” at Jantar Mantar on Sunday. In this programme all the MPs, MLAs, councillors and party workers will be present. Kejriwal and the common man have an old relationship with Jantar Mantar.

The formation of the Aam Aadmi Party was announced from this place in the year 2013. In this programme, Arvind Kejriwal will put forward his views and present the details of the work done for the people of Delhi. Party leaders say that this will be the beginning of the public relations campaign for the Delhi elections. Kejriwal will try to tell the people that due to working in the interest of the people of Delhi, a conspiracy was hatched to implicate him and other party leaders in false cases.
