Car launches this week: Ferrari F80, Raptee T30 and more

The automotive industry saw several exciting developments this week, with surprising debuts and updates that showcase cutting-edge innovation, style and performance. Highlights include Ferrari’s record-breaking F80 and the refreshed Triumph Scrambler 400 X.

F80

Ferrari has unveiled its latest limited edition supercar, the F80, priced at €3.6 million (£3.1 million or around Rs 30 million). Inspired by endurance racing and Formula 1, the model is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine combined with electric motors. With a 0-100 km/h time of 2.15 seconds, it sets a new record as Ferrari’s fastest-accelerating internal combustion engine (ICE) road car to date, with a top speed of more than 350 km/h. Deliveries of the F80 are expected to begin in late 2025.

Maruti Suzuki Swift Blitz Edition

Maruti Suzuki has launched the new Swift Blitz edition, starting at ₹6.49 lakh. Based on the base LXi, VXi and VXi (O) variants, the Blitz is powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 82 PS and 112 Nm of torque (70 PS and 102 Nm for CNG variants). ). With accessories worth ₹50,000, it gives the base models a more premium and modern look.

Toyota Taisor Limited Edition

Toyota India has introduced the Urban Cruiser Taisor Limited Edition, with accessories worth ₹20,160 available exclusively on the turbo variants. Priced between ₹ 10.55 lakh and ₹ 13.04 lakh (ex-showroom), the Taisor features a 9-inch touchscreen, cruise control, automatic climate control and more. The Limited Edition will only be available until the end of October 2024.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Regal Edition

Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the Baleno Regal Edition, available in petrol and CNG variants. This limited edition offers a variety of complementary accessories, including new seat covers, an interior design kit, window curtains and 3D all-weather floor mats.

Raptee T30

Raptee has launched India’s first high-voltage electric motorcycle, the T30, priced at ₹2.39 lakh. Using technology similar to that of electric cars, the T30 competes with 250-300 cc ICE motorcycles. It can be charged at any of the 13,500 CCS2 car charging stations across the country, with deliveries starting in Chennai and Bengaluru in January.

Triumph Scrambler 400X

Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced a new color option, ‘Pearl Metallic White’, for the Scrambler 400 tank, in addition to the colors previously available as Phantom. Black/Ice Silver, Carnival Red/Ghost Black and Matte Khaki Green/Fusion White.
