7969 dropped out of the exam on the second day.

7,969 candidates were absent on the second day of the police recruitment exam on Saturday. 15,551 candidates took the exam in two shifts at 27 examination centres. The first shift exam was held from 10 am to 12 pm. For this, 11,760 candidates had to appear for the exam. 7,701 candidates appeared. 4,059 candidates were absent. In the second shift, 7,850 candidates appeared for the exam as against 11,760. 3,910 candidates were absent.

The railways made arrangements for the recruitment of policemen.

Railways has also made elaborate arrangements for the ongoing UP Police Recruitment Examination at Agra. Railways has run some special examination trains for the recruitment examination.
