B2B medical supply chain platform Medikabazaar appoints Dinesh Lodha as Group CEO

B2B medical supply chain platform Medikabazaar has appointed Dinesh Lodha as its new group chief executive officer (CEO).

Lodha, who brings over two decades of experience in the medical technology industry, has held leadership roles across various sectors including FMCG and healthcare.

He has worked with private equity-led multinational companies and large listed Indian companies. His experience spans the medical consumables category at Healthium and TI Medical and the equipment category at GE Healthcare and Samsung.

What does Medikabazaar do?

Founded in 2014 by Vivek Tiwari and Ketan Malkan, Medikabazaar enables hospitals and medical facilities to discover supplies and compare specifications and prices in real-time.

The company offers a B2B marketplace, an AI and ML-powered SaaS solution, a medical financing solution, an end-to-end procurement model for large hospitals, and an asset management platform for medical equipment.

It offers more than 400,000 products and serves more than 10,000 medical centers and 30,000 independent physicians and clinics.

Focused on expansion

Lodha’s leadership is expected to drive further expansion, particularly in international markets such as Dubai, Singapore and China, where the company is focused on strategic acquisitions and organic growth.

“I am excited to join Medikabazaar, the largest homegrown technology platform dedicated to streamlining the procurement of medical supplies. We will continue to strengthen our partnerships with leading hospitals and healthcare professionals globally, acting as an extended procurement arm for all their medical procurement,” said Lodha.
