BCCI names India squad for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced India’s squad for the ICC Women’s Championship. T20 World Cup 2024, scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates from October 3. Harmanpreet Kaur has been named as the team captain, while Smriti Mandhana has been chosen as her deputy.

India is part of Group A along with Australia, PakistanSri Lanka and New Zealand. India are scheduled to play their first group match against New Zealand on October 4. India will then face their arch-rivals Pakistan on October 6. The highly anticipated clash will take place at the Dubai International Stadium.
