JNVST Admission 2025: The application process for the entrance test for admission in class 6 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has started. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) accepts the application form through online mode. For admission, students will have to appear for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Screening Test (JNVST 2025), which will be conducted for admission to class 6 in 650 Navodaya Vidyalayas. Eligible and interested candidates will have to apply by visiting the official website navodaya.gov.in.

The last date for application is September 16. Candidates and their parents must read these 10 important points before filling out the application form.

1. Before submitting the application form, the candidate must upload the following required documents: Photograph, Signature of Guardian and Candidate, Aadhar Card details/Residence Certificate and Certificate attested by Principal.

2. The information provided by the parents in the application form will be verified by the headmaster of the school where the student has studied up to the fifth grade. The document to be uploaded must be in JPG format and its size must be between 10-100 KB.

3. A candidate who is currently studying in class 5 in any district can apply for admission to JNV in that district only.

4. The candidate must have been born no earlier than May 1, 2013, nor after July 31, 2015 (both dates included).

5. The entrance exam will be conducted in two phases. The first phase exam will be held on January 18, 2025. The second phase exam will be held on April 12, 2025.

6. The locations where the examination will be conducted in the first phase include Jammu and Kashmir (except Jammu-I, Jammu-II and Samba), Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Dibang Valley and Tawang districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla districts of India, Darjeeling district of West Bengal and Leh and Kargil districts of the Union Territory of Ladakh.

7. Second Phase of Examination Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh (except Dibang Valley and Tawang districts), Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh (Chamba, Kinnaur, Mandi, Sirmaur, Kullu, Lahaul and Spiti and Shimla (except districts) Jammu and Kashmir (only for Jammu-I, Jammu-II and Samba) Jharkhand, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tripura, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal Union Territory (except Darjeeling), Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Delhi, Lakshadweep and Puducherry will be conducted.

8. Candidates will have 2 hours for the entrance exam. The exam schedule for both phases is from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

9. There will be three sections in the entrance examination question paper and objective type questions will be asked. Candidates will be asked 80 questions, the total score of which will be 100. Candidates can visit the official website for more information.

10. The result of the selection test is likely to be published in March 2025 for summer JNVs (Phase 2 examination) and in May 2025 for winter JNVs (Phase 1 examination).
