In a significant development, Israeli government authorities confirmed on Saturday (Oct. 19) that a drone was launched toward Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea. According to published information, the drone that crossed Israel’s high levels of air security was sent from Lebanon and launched towards the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

While the prime minister’s spokesperson confirmed that neither Netanyahu nor his wife were home at the time of the incident, he also added that no casualties were reported due to the incident.

Furthermore, it is significant to note that the attacks on Israel come as its war with Lebanon’s Hezbollah – an Iran-backed ally of Hamas – has escalated in recent weeks.
