Bibhav Kumar granted bail by Supreme Court

Bibhav Kumar Bail Bond: The Supreme Court has granted bail to accused Bibhav Kumar in the Swati Maliwal case. The Supreme Court granted bail to Vibhav Kumar with some conditions. The court has said that Bibhav Kumar should not be reinstated as a personal assistant nor should he hold any official position in the Chief Minister’s Office. The Supreme Court has also directed that Bibhav Kumar should not come to the Chief Minister’s residence until all the witnesses are examined. The Supreme Court said that Bibhav Kumar will be remanded for 100 days and the chargesheet has already been filed in the case.

Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal had accused Bibhav Kumar of assault. Following this, the police registered a case against him. The police arrested him. Swati Maliwal had alleged that Kumar had beaten her and abused her in the CM House. Swati Maliwal had also lodged an FIR against him with the Delhi Police. Following which the police detained Bibhav Kumar for questioning.
