According to the officials, a court stamp fee of Rs 50 to Rs 100 is required for family partition. Apart from this, the registration and document scanning fee of Rs 1000 has to be deposited at the registration office through bank challan.

After this, like the normal registration, its process is also completed. Before this, the family members themselves had to prepare all the details of the ancestral property. Khatian of ancestral property and family lineage in whose name the Khatian is. The genealogy of them so far is necessary, i.e. in whose name the land will be divided. Family division of ancestral property will be possible only when the person in whose name the Khatian is named has passed away. At the time of partition, it is necessary to provide a death certificate or proof of death.

These 06 documents will be required in mutual distribution.

1. Photocopy of the rent receipt: This is issued by the revenue officer of the Mauza to which the land belongs. For this, the prescribed revenue must be deposited in the public treasury.

2. Land Related Documents (Kevala, Khatian, etc.): The purchase documents related to the land you want to divide are called Kewala. It is issued at the registry office. On the other hand, after purchasing a piece of land, it needs to be registered at the Revenue Department, from where a valid document is issued to the buyer. This is called Khatian.

3. Genealogy: Writing the names of sons, daughters, sons and daughters of sons etc. of the person in whose name the land is in sequential manner on a paper is called genealogy. Genealogy issued under the signature of Sarpanch, Ward Councillor or affidavit certified by a notary will be required.

4. Death certificate of Jamabandi ryot: The holder of a valid property certificate issued by the Revenue Department is called a ryot. After death, it is necessary to obtain his death certificate.

5. Aadhar Card: In whose name the land will be distributed.

6. Written consent of all shareholders: The written consent of all those in whose name the land will be divided and their presence at the office at the time of registration is mandatory.
