BJP is all set to win Jharkhand tribal seats, preparations to field these veteran leaders in elections

ranchi: The state BJP is busy preparing vigorously for the assembly elections to be held in Jharkhand. This time the party is making a special strategy to win 28 seats reserved for the scheduled tribes in the state. The party plans to win more than half of these seats. A plan is being prepared in this regard. The candidate selection exercise is going on. Preparations are being made with special attention to the seats of Santal Pargana and Kolhan divisions. BJP election in-charge Laxmikant Vajpayee, Assembly election in-charge and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, co-in-charge and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Vishwa Sarma are constantly in touch with the party leaders and working out future strategies.

Arjun Munda is preparing to contest elections from this seat.

assembly elections This time, preparations are underway to field senior party leaders and functionaries along with former MLAs including Arjun Munda, Sameer Oraon, Sudarshan Bhagat, Dinesh Oraon, Geeta Koda, Sita Soren and Lewis Marandi. A discussion is underway to nominate former Chief Minister Arjun Munda from Khijri or Kharsawan seat. Three names, each recommended by the district presidents, are being considered for all ST seats. Apart from these, the party is considering other names.

  1. Khijri: Former Chief Minister and Union Minister Arjun Munda, former MP Ram Kumar Pahan, state vice-president Aarti Kujur, Yuva Morcha state vice-president Satyadev Munda.
  2. Khunti: MLA Neelkanth Singh Munda, Jagannath Munda, son of Kadiya Munda.
  3. Torpa: MLA Koche Munda.
  4. Simdega: Shraddhanand Besra (son of former MLA Nirmal Besra) lost the election by 250 votes in the last elections to Rakesh Ravikant Pradhan, son of former MLA Vimla Pradhan, Laxman Badaik.
  5. Kolebira – Ashok Badaik state media in-charge and former Kolebira assembly election in-charge, former candidate Sujan Munda, Mahendra Bhagat (former candidate)
  6. Gumla: Sudarshan Bhagat (former MP and MLA), former MLA Shivshankar Oraon, former candidate Misir Kujur.
  7. Bishnupur: Former Rajya Sabha MP, ST Morcha national president Sameer Oraon, national minister and ST National Commission member Asha Lakra, former candidate Ashok Oraon.
  8. Sisai: Former President Dinesh Oraon, State Spokesperson and IPS Dr Arun Oraon, Zilla Parishad President, Gumla Kiran Mala Bada.
  9. Lohardaga: This is the headquarters of AJSU alliance. Manir Oraon is the district president, Bindeshwar Oraon (state general secretary of ST Morcha) occupies this seat.
  10. 10 Mandar: Former MLA Gangotri Kujur, Sunny Toppo (left Congress and joined BJP), former candidate Devkumar Dhan.
  11. Manika: Former MLA Harekrishna Singh, Awadhesh Singh Chero (ST Morcha state vice president).
  12. Ghatshila: Former Lakhan Mardi candidate, Laxman Tudu (former MLA).
  13. Seraikela: Champai Soren (if he joins the BJP), Ganesh Mahali (former candidate).
  14. Kharsawan: Former Chief Minister and Union Minister Arjun Munda, Meera Munda (Arjun Munda’s wife), former Jawahar Banra candidate.

  18. Mazgaon: Former minister Barkuwar Gagrai, Bhushan Patha Pinguwa, former candidate Anil Biruli.
  19. Jama: Former MP Sita Soren, former MP Sunil Soren, former candidate Suresh Murmu, former Dumka district ST Morcha president Vimal Marandi.
  20. Shikaripada: Former district president and former candidate Paritosh Soren, Yuva Morcha state spokesperson and Zilla Parishad member Avinash Soren.
  21. Maheshpur: Former MLA Mistry Soren, Durga Marandi, BJP state minister, former MLA Devidhan Tudu, Sufal Marandi.
  22. Littipara: Former candidate Daniel Kisku, ST Morcha Working Committee member Sahib Hansda, former Pakur district council chairman Babudhan Murmu.
  23. Borio: Former MLA Tala Marandi, Lobin Hembram (if joins BJP), Surya Narayan Hansda (former candidate).
  24. Barhet: Simon Malto, former candidate, Renuka Murmu, former president of Sahibganj Zilla Parishad, Ravindra Tudu (Dumka RSS district campaign).
  25. Torpa: Koche Munda, former Bano Mandal president Ajit Kandulna, BJP district general secretary Nikhil Kandulna.
  26. Tamar: Rita Munda, Devi Dayal Munda, Raja Peter (if BJP joins)
  27. Dumka: Former Minister Dr. Lewis Marandi, District Minister Gunjan Marandi Dumka, Professor Dr. Anjula Murmu of Sido-Kanho University (comes from JVM).
