BPSC 70th CCE 2024: 70 new vacancies added, last date to apply extended | Competitive exams

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced that 70 new vacancies in various departments of the Bihar government have been added to the 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Examination (CCE), 2024. Therefore, the total number of vacancies to be filled through the BPSC 70ยบ CCE It stands at 2027, compared to the previous 1,957.

In a separate notification, the commission informed that the last date to apply for the exam has been extended to November 4. Previously, the deadline to apply was October 18.

The commission said existing candidates can update their OTR (Single Registration) profile details between October 19 and November 4, except name, mother’s name, father’s name and date of birth.

During this window, you can also update the 70th CCE application forms except the four columns mentioned above.

BPSC such candidates can also change their gender and category by paying an additional fee.

Recently, the BPSC The 70th Integrated Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination has been postponed.

The exam will be held on December 13 and 14 instead of November 17, 2024.

This year, 7-8 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the preliminary exam.

Candidates need a graduate degree to apply for the exam. To know the subsequent eligibility criteria, you can check the official notification.

To apply for this exam, general category candidates are required to pay a fee of $600. SC and ST candidates of Bihar, female permanent resident candidates of Bihar and candidates of disabled category are required to pay $150.

Steps to apply for BPSC 70th CCE?

  1. Go to the BPSC website at onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in.
  2. Complete the one-time registration if you are a new candidate. If you are already a candidate and have an OTR profile, log in to your account.
  3. Choose the exam name and open the application form.
  4. Enter your personal details and any other information requested.
  5. Upload documents and pay the application fee.
  6. Submit the form and print the final page.
