However, late in the evening, after a tripartite meeting with the Jharsuguda administration and bus owners, the Kuchinda Bus Owners Association withdrew the decision of indefinite chakka jam. According to the information, the Kuchinda Private Bus Owners Association has started an indefinite strike from 5.30 am on Thursday over the behaviour of Kuchinda police ASI. The Kuchinda Private Bus Association submitted a memorandum to the local SDM Hemsagar Bhoi on Wednesday evening informing him about the indefinite blockade from Thursday. On this, Kuchinda Private Bus Owners Association president Dhirendra Kumar Nayak said that the Jharsuguda Private Bus Owners Association had stopped a bus of the Kuchinda Private Bus Owners Association at 12 noon on Wednesday. Following which the Kuchinda Private Bus Owners Association also made arrangements to stop a bus from Jharsuguda and send its passengers to another bus. During this time, ASI Rajendra Seth of Kuchinda police station reached the spot and abused and misbehaved with the hawkers of the bus syndicate. Later, the bus to Jharsuguda was forcefully sent. Angry over this, the Kuchinda Private Bus Owners Association has decided to initiate an indefinite traffic jam from Thursday morning.

87 buses operate on different routes.

Under the supervision of Private Bus Owners Association, around 87 buses are plying from Kuchinda to Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Sundergarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh. Many buses plying on these routes have been affected by the jam. Due to this, passengers from different areas were stranded at Kuchinda bus stand. The jam continues till the time of writing the news.

Consensus reached on bus schedules at tripartite meeting

The Chakka Jam agitation called by the Kuchinda Private Bus Owners Association was withdrawn after the tripartite meeting on Thursday evening. After which the bus traffic was started. In the tripartite meeting held under the chairmanship of Kuchinda SDM Hemsagar Bhoi, Kuchinda Private Bus Owners Association President Dhirendra Kumar Nayak, General Secretary Udaypratap Singh and other members, Jharsuguda Private Bus Owners Association office-bearers, Sambalpur RTO Ramchandra Tudu, Kuchinda SDPO Amitabh Panda, Kuchinda Station House Officer BD Khandual and constables were present. In the meeting which lasted for half an hour, both sides agreed on the bus timing. There was a tussle between the two unions over the bus timing.
