The Memorandum of Understanding (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed on Thursday in Riyadh.
“Our commitment to a strong bilateral relationship is a testament to the shared values and objectives of our institutions and will serve to strengthen the ties between our SAIs and our nations,” said CAG Girish Chandra Murmu.
The CAG said the support and cooperation between the two SAIs will boost their capacity development initiatives and foster the exchange of knowledge and information between the two Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs).
Hussam Abdulmohsen Alangari, President of the General Court of Accounts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighted the importance of the agreement to enhance cooperation in areas of competence of the two SAIs in order to improve their respective external audit practices.
