Many of those who have already binge-watched the series dubbed as “the Indian series”, Emily in Paris‘A section of social media users have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reviews of Call Me Bae.
Twitter opens up about Call Me Bae
Someone tweeted, “Call Me Bae is so unserious I love it…” Another X-user praised Vir Das, who joins Ananya in the series, and wrote, “Whoever thought of casting Vir Das “As a crazy, sellout TV news anchor, the Call Me Bae cartoon will always have my respect.”
One X user said, “Call Me Bae was so much fun to watch! Behen code for success (sister code for success).” Another agreed and tweeted, “OMG Call Me Bae is so much fun. Ananya was born to play these kinds of roles.”
‘I started watching Call Me Bae and I loved it’
One tweet also read: “I’d recently been watching too many ghost stories and couldn’t sleep all night so I started watching Call Me Bae and loved it. It’s now 7am and I have to log into work at 11am… basically no sleep.”
One person, who didn’t seem too impressed, joked, “I just finished Ananya Panday’s web series, Call Me Bae. And after that, I decided to do a new web series, Call Me C******, because I watched that shit.” Another said, “Call Me Bae is basically Ananya Panday’s ‘struggle’ journey from South Delhi to South Mumbai, lol.”
