CAT 2024: CAT is one of the most challenging entrance exams in the country, through which students can get into IIMs and other top-tier B-schools. This exam provides an excellent career option in the corporate sector. If you want to pursue MBA from any reputed institute in the country, you can proceed with CAT. The deadline for this exam has been extended till September 20, 2024. With the revised deadline, candidates now have a few extra days to collect the required documents and complete their applications.
There is a change in the application fee.
There has been a slight revision in the application fee compared to previous years. While earlier the fee for the general category was Rs 2,400 and Rs 1,200 for the reserved category, to appear in CAT 2024, general category candidates will have to pay Rs 2,500 as examination fee, while reserved category (SC/ST/PWD) candidates will have to pay Rs. 1,250.

The exam is on November 24th.
The CAT-2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024, at designated centres across 170 cities in India. Candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements, which include having a graduation degree with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
How to register for CAT 2024
- First register on the official website: Generate your user ID and password.
- Login: Use your credentials to complete the application form.
- Fill out the form: Enter the required details and make the payment online.
- OTP Verification: Candidates will receive OTP for mobile and email verification, while foreign candidates will receive it via email.
- Final Registration: After OTP verification, your User ID and Password will be sent to your registered email and mobile number. This completes the registration process.
