The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially started the registration process for the 10th and 12th grade board examinations in 2025. Students of 10th and 12th grade are required to fill the forms and register for the board examinations.
Schools affiliated to the board will have to apply for the same and submit the list of candidates or LOC. The registration process will be done through the Pareeksha Sangam portal at parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.
The registration process has started today, 5th September 2024 and will remain open till 4th October 2024. All schools are required to submit the LOC before the last date along with the stipulated fee for the upcoming examinations. However, visually impaired students will be exempted from paying for class 10th and 12th board examinations.
In case schools miss the last date, they can still submit the LOC before October 15 with a surcharge of Rs 2,000 per child. Therefore, students need to complete the registration process for the academic year 2024-25 with the appropriate surcharge.
Details must be carefully filled in the registration forms for Grade 10 and Grade 12. It is important to note that the information provided at the time of registration will be used by the board in all official documents such as mark sheets and roll numbers to be issued. Any such discrepancy may lead to further errors in the official CBSE documents.
All parents and students are also carefully informed before sending the registration of the students. Students can only appear for the board examination of the subject as per the submitted LOC. Changes in the subject at a later date will not be accepted, according to the CBSE.
The board exam will start from 15th February 2025 and the tentative date sheet will be sent in the month of November or December 2024.
