Jharkhand Politics: Former rebel CM of Jharkhand and JMM Champai Soren has joined the BJP. Along with Champai Soren, his son Babulal Soren also became a member. Champai Soren was given the membership by Union Agriculture Minister and Jharkhand BJP in-charge Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Assam CM and co-in-charge Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Champai joins BJP
called kolhan tiger Champai Soren He has joined the BJP. He joined the BJP at a function organised at Dhurva Golchakkar ground in Ranchi. During this, Jharkhand BJP president Babulal Marandi, Amar Bauri, Laxmikant Vajpayee, former CM Arjun Munda and many other leaders were present.
Why was Champai angry?
JMM was angry after Champai Soren was removed from the CM post. He alleged that he was insulted in JMM. After this, the relationship between Champai Soren and Hemant Soren turned sour. During this period, Champai Soren also visited Delhi twice and met top leaders of the BJP. In Delhi, he met Home Minister Amit Shah and after getting the signal from there, he announced that he would join the BJP.
He resigned from all positions in the JMM and the government two days ago
Champai Soren had resigned from all his posts in JMM on August 28. Champai also resigned from the post of MLA. A few days ago, Champai Soren had given out information through social media in which he had made many serious allegations against JMM. He cornered the JMM on the issue of infiltration from Bangladesh and said that the declining number of tribals and increasing number of infiltrators is a cause of concern. Only the BJP seems serious on this issue.
