Singer-songwriter Charli XCX is the latest addition to the cast of the upcoming thriller “I Want Your Sex.”
The 32-year-old musician will star alongside previously announced cast members Olivia Wilde and Cooper Hoffman in the Gregg Araki-directed project, entertainment news outlet Deadline reported.
The film will mark his second live-action role following Daniel Goldhaber’s “Faces of Death,” a remake of the 1978 film.
Exploring themes of “desire, domination and fantasy,” “I Want Your Sex” follows Elliot (Hoffman), a fresh-faced young man who lands an exciting job working for renowned artist, icon and provocateur Erika Tracy (Wilde).
Then his fantasies become reality when Erika asks him to become her sexual muse. Later, he finds himself on a journey deeper than he could have ever imagined, into a world of sex, obsession, power, betrayal and murder.
Written by Karley Sciortino, production on the film is scheduled to begin in Los Angeles in October.
Seth Caplan, Araki, Sciortino and Teddy Schwarzman and Black Bear’s Michael Heimler serve as producers.
