Subhadra Yojana: 10 million women to benefit
Over 10 million women in Odisha will benefit from this scheme, which is targeted at beneficiaries between the age group of 21 and 60 years.
The funds will be credited in the accounts of over 10 lakh women on the first day after the launch of the scheme. Earlier, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that this scheme was part of the BJP manifesto in Odisha and is aimed at economically uplifting women.
Subhadra Yojana: Women will receive Rs 10,000 per year
Under the Subhadra Yojana, eligible women beneficiaries will receive Rs 10,000 for five years. Starting from the financial year 2024-25, they will receive Rs 10,000 annually, credited in two equal instalments to their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.

As part of the yojana, women beneficiaries in the age group of 21 to 60 years are eligible to receive the benefits of the scheme and this welfare scheme is expected to transform the lives of over 1 crore women in Odisha.

Registration for Subhadra Yojana began on September 1 and the cash assistance scheme for women will be implemented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17.
