Netflix announced today through a press release that Chef’s tablethe food documentary series created by David Gelb, will return for three more seasons, starting this fall. The show’s final season, which focused on pizza makers in the United States, Rome and Japan, aired in 2022.
Chef’s Table: Noodlesa single-topic season similar to the show’s previous deep dives into baking, barbecue and pizza, premieres Oct. 2. It will feature Los Angeles-based chef Evan Funke. known for its handmade pasta; Guirong Wei, the London chef who specializes in Shaanxi cuisine; Peppe Guida, the Italian chef behind the Michelin-starred Antica Osteria Nonna Rosa; and Nite Yun, the Oakland chef who has defended Cambodian cuisine in the United States.
On November 27th, just in time to watch Thanksgiving on television, there will be a The Chef’s Table: Volume 7which will return to the show’s roots of highlighting chefs who cook all kinds of food. It will include Nok Suntaranon of Philadelphia’s Kalaya; Kwame Onwuachi from New York City Tatiana; Angel Leon of El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain’s Aponiente; and Norma Listman and Saqib Keval of Mexico City’s Masala y Maíz and Mari Gold.

And as 2025 marks the show’s 10th anniversary, Netflix has also announced plans to Chef’s Table: Legendswhich according to the release notes will include “people who have shaped the world of food and transcended borders,” although its lineup has not yet been released. Given that the show has already featured so many high-profile and hugely influential chefs, including Massimo Bottura, Alain Passard and Grant Achatz, it will be interesting to see how it defines the term “legends” this season.
