The matter pertains to Dev Puliya village under Rajnagar police station area in Chhatarpur district. Nandi Ahirwar, 57, who lives here, has been attacked by a goon. A few days ago, Nandi had sold one of her plots to Manoj Patel of the same village for Rs 4 lakh 50 thousand. Manoj Patel called up Nandi to ask for money and then fatally attacked him.
Attacked instead of giving money
After the deal for the plot was finalized, Manoj’s elder brother Kamlesh Patel called Nandi Ahirwar to pay the amount. Kamlesh took him on a bicycle from Dev Puliya village to Lugasi post. As soon as Kamlesh reached the bridge near Lugasi post, he started fighting. After beating the youth, the accused doused him with petrol and set him on fire.

The injured Nandi Ka said that Kamlesh Patel first attacked him several times on the head with the butt of a country-made pistol. When he was seriously injured, they also fired fire on his hand. After this attack, his condition worsened further. The accused did not stop there, he poured petrol on me and set me on fire. After committing the act, the accused fled from the spot.
In this matter, Chhatarpur SP Agam Jain says that the incident is being seriously investigated. The accused will soon be arrested in the case. Currently the incident is being investigated in detail.
