Chhattisgarh News: Skill-based education in Chhattisgarh, CM Vishnudev Sai said: Natural dispensary and artificial intelligence will get a boost.

Chhattisgarh News: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai presented the state’s development plan at the 9th meeting of the NITI Aayog Governing Council. Chief Minister Sai briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the state’s priorities and efforts for development with emphasis on education, human resource development, health and technological advancement. He shared the proposed plans for the development of Chhattisgarh, which clarify the State’s role in realizing the goal of developed India by 2047. CM Soy said that Chhattisgarh will play an important role in developed India by 2047. He said that at present the state’s GSDP is Rs 5.05 lakh crore. He said that the target is to increase it to Rs 10 lakh crore in the next five years. For this, work on improvements and targets in various fields has been initiated.

At the meeting, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while emphasising the role of youth in the development of the state, said that Chhattisgarh’s primary focus is on grooming qualified human resources. In Chhattisgarh, education is being linked with vocational skills and training. It aims to provide students with capabilities that will make them employment-ready. The process of making ‘One Nation, One Student’ ID card for every student in the state is being initiated. In this, all important information related to the educational experience of the student will be present in digital form. He shared plans for better availability of healthcare services, sustainable development and preservation of the culture and tradition of the state. For economic empowerment, Chhattisgarh Super Foods will be produced and natural dispensaries will be constructed. Processing and marketing of local products will be encouraged. Along with expansion of artificial intelligence and IT sector, emphasis will also be given on development of physical structures like roads, buildings and digital facilities like internet and mobile networks.

CM Sai has sought cooperation from the Centre for better electricity supply in rural and remote areas. He said that the process of installing rooftop solar power has been simplified and a plan has been drawn up to build 100 villages completely based on renewable energy. The study for installing rooftop solar plants on government buildings has been completed and these plants have been installed on most of the government buildings in Naya Raipur from where electricity is supplied to the grid. Chief Minister Sai said that 96 per cent of the houses in Chhattisgarh will be supplied with drinking water by March 2026. He said that India’s goal should not only be development by 2047 but also a water-secure India by 2047. For this he expressed hope for technical and financial cooperation from the Central Government.

Besides further strengthening the National Institute of Groundwater Research and Training in Raipur, he also demanded the establishment of a research centre for rainwater conservation. He said that with its establishment, rainwater in Chhattisgarh can be stored and utilised properly. This will reduce the water crisis and farmers will be more helped. He said that mobile medical units have been deployed to improve health services in tribal areas. Now health services are reaching even the remotest areas of Chhattisgarh. Health services are being extended through these mobile units, providing facilities to people in remote areas. On land and property issues, Chief Minister Sai said that all land records are being digitised in Chhattisgarh. This technology will increase transparency and check corruption. He said that with this reform, land disputes can be easily resolved, which will encourage investment and development in the state.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his support and cooperation towards the priorities and needs of Chhattisgarh. He expressed his hope that with the help of the Central Government, the State of Chhattisgarh will achieve its development goals and play a major role in realizing the vision of a developed India 2047. On this occasion, all the Union Ministers, Chief Ministers of various states, Lieutenant Governors of Union Territories, Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, members of the Governing Council and Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh, Shri Amitabh Jain were present.
