The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has announced a recruitment drive for 1,130 posts of Fire and Police Officers. The application process will begin from 30th August 2024 and the last date to apply is 30th September 2024. Interested candidates can fill the application form through the official website i.e. cisfrectt.in.
The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 1,130 posts; 466 posts reserved for the general category, 236 for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 161 for Scheduled Tribes (ST), 153 for Scheduled Castes (SC) and 114 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). What are the eligibility criteria for the posts of Firefighter and CISF Constable?
To apply for the posts of CISF firefighter, candidates must have passed the class 12 board examination from a recognized board in the country. The age limit to apply for these posts is between 18 and 23 years as on September 30, 2024. However, age relaxation will be applied as per government norms.
Selection process
There are several stages in the selection process for CISF firefighter posts that candidates need to pass, which include a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standards Test (PST), document verification, a written examination and a medical examination.
Application fee
The application fee for CISF Constable Fire Officer recruitment is Rs 100 for general, OBC and EWS candidates. Candidates from SC, ST and PWD categories are exempted from paying the fee.
Syllabus and pattern of exam for the post of CISF Firefighter
The CISF Fire Constable Examination will consist of four sections: Part A, General Intelligence and Reasoning; Part B, General Intelligence and Reasoning; Part C, Elementary Mathematics; and Part D, English/Hindi Language. The duration of the examination will be 120 marks and each question carries 25 marks, which is equivalent to one mark each.
