NTA UGC NET June 2024 Exam City Ticket: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the thematic report proof of notification from the exam city For the University Scholarship Commission The examination for the June 2024 session of the National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) is scheduled to be held on August 21, 22 and 23. Candidates who have successfully completed the online application form can download their exam city slip from the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

“Candidates are advised to check/download their UGC – NET June 2024 Examination City Notification Slip (using their application number and date of birth) from the website ugcnet.nta.ac.in/wef and follow the instructions contained therein,” the NTA notification read.

The city’s notification voucher contains information about the exam location so that the student can travel and find accommodation before the exam.

NTA UGC NET June 2024: Admit Cards

He admission cards Admit cards are also expected to be released two to three days before the exam. Candidates should note that they will need login credentials such as their application number and date of birth to download the admit card.

UGC NET June 2024: Exam Pattern

The examination pattern for 2024, as prescribed by the NTA, includes two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The total duration of both papers combined is three hours. Both papers consist of objective type multiple choice questions (MCQs). A total of 150 questions are asked, with 50 questions in Paper 1 and 100 questions in Paper 2. There is no negative marking in the examination.

The NTA is planning to conduct the UGC-NET exam in June 2024 in the Computer-based test (CBT), a modality for 83 subjects in different cities of the country between August 21 and September 4, 2024.

It is important to note that the UGC NET June 2024 exam was conducted in pen-and-paper format on June 18 and in two shifts but was cancelled amid the NEET-UG fiasco. The government said that the UGC received certain inputs regarding the exams from the National Cybercrime Threat Analysis Unit of the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C). These inputs prima facie indicate that the integrity of the aforementioned exam may have been compromised. However, after investigation, it was found that the paper was not leaked.

Last year, 9,45,918 candidates registered and 6,95,928 appeared for the December 2023 exam in 292 cities across the country. The exam was conducted between December 6 and 14 and the result was announced on January 17.
