CM Nitish Kumar gave a huge gift to Saharsa, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of many projects.

Bihar News: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday inaugurated the ancient Maa Vishhara Bhagwati Temple at Gram Panchayat Diwari, located in Kahara block of Saharsa district. It has also been announced that the Tourism Department will organise Vishhara Bhagwati Temple Festival every year. Before this, the Chief Minister offered prayers at the temple and prayed for happiness, peace and prosperity of the state. He visited the temple complex and reviewed the development works. Saplings were planted on the temple premises and fish seeds were released in the pond located on the temple premises. The Chief Minister said that the beautification of the temple complex has been done better. Now the devotees coming here will not face any kind of inconvenience, they will feel good after coming here.

CM laid the first stone of the bridge

Following this, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of schemes of various departments at Gram Panchayat Amarpur located in Kahra block. He laid the foundation stone of the construction work of high-level RCC bridge on the Kosi River between Khajur Deva Chowk and Deng Rahi Ghat in Saharsa district at a cost of Rs 414.74 crore. He also laid the foundation stone of the model police station building to be constructed in Saharsa district at a cost of Rs 5.67 crore.

Inauguration of actions of the Water-Life-Green Campaign

The Chief Minister also inaugurated the cleaning work of the government pond located near the Panchayat Amarpur government building under the Water-Jeevan-Hariyali campaign. During this, the Chief Minister also left fish cumin in the pond. While giving directions to the officials, he said that a stepped ghat should be constructed on the banks of this government pond and dense plantations should be made around it. He said that we have renovated and beautified the government ponds through the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali campaign.

The Chief Minister inspected the exhibition

During the programme, the Chief Minister visited the exhibitions organised by various departments. During this, token cheques of Chief Minister Special Assistance Scheme, Chief Minister Integrated Chaur Development Scheme, Chief Minister Pond Fisheries Development Scheme and Chief Minister Block Transport Scheme were handed over to the beneficiaries. Chief Minister presented Jeevika Didis token cheque of Rs 62 crore 43 lakh to 1738 livelihood sustaining self-help groups, token cheque of Rs 1 crore 12 lakh 57 thousand to 306 selected families under Sustainable Livelihood Scheme.
