CSIR UGC NET 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the provisional answer key for the CSIR UGC Joint Network 2024 On Thursday, the examining agency will close the window for challenging the provisional answer key on Sunday, August 11, 2024, till 11:50 PM. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key and are willing to raise objections can do so by visiting the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.
“The objections raised by the candidates will be verified by a panel of subject matter experts. If the objection of a candidate is found to be correct, the answer sheet will be revised and the answers of all the candidates will be applied accordingly. Based on the revised final answer sheet, the result will be prepared and announced. No individual candidate will be informed about whether his/her objection is accepted or not. The answer sheet finalised by the experts after the objection will be final,” the official notification read.
Candidates should note that they must pay an application fee. ₹200 per question to challenge the Provisional Answer KeyThe last date for payment is August 11th until 11:50 PM. No challenge will be accepted without receipt of the processing fee. This fee is non-refundable and can be paid by debit or credit card or through online banking. The fee for the challenge will not be accepted through any other means.
CSIR-UGC NET JUNE 2024 will be held at computer based test (CBT) in English and Hindi. The exam pattern will be objective type with multiple choice questions and the duration of the exam will be three hours (180 minutes).
The exam consists of five parts: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Oceanic and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences. CSIR UGC NET is conducted to evaluate candidates for Research grant for young people (JRF) and for Assistant Professor (LS) posts in universities and colleges in India. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has entrusted the National Testing Agency (NTA) with the task of conducting the joint CSIR-UGC NET examination. The examination is conducted in December and June in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
