Food delivery platform led by Deepinder Goyal Zomato has launched a “Group Order” feature, which allows users to share a link with friends, allowing everyone to add items to their cart seamlessly.
This feature eliminates the hassle of having to pass around a phone so everyone can add their orders.

Announcing the development on X, CEO Deepinder Goyal wrote: “You can now share a link with your friends, and everyone can seamlessly add it to their cart, making ordering together faster and easier.”
“We are gradually rolling this out to all customers. If the feature is available to you, try it out at your house party tonight and let us know how it goes,” Goyal added.

Goyal, in response to a user query on X, said the company will also be launching a split payment feature soon.
Swiggy Group Order Feature
Meanwhile, Swiggy also has a similar feature, which was launched a few days ago.
