A Delhi influencer named “munna_kumarguddu” recently… shared a video in Instagram showing the process and challenges of earning Rs 20 as Zomato delivery boy.

The video begins with him accepting an order and walking 1.5 km to the restaurant to collect the food. He then walks 650 metres to deliver the order and earns Rs 20 for his efforts.

Since it was shared, the video has garnered over 84,000 likes and 3.5 million views, sparking widespread debate among netizens.

“Meanwhile, Zomato is paying millions of rupees to software engineers,” wrote one user.

“So the hourly rate is about 40, so if you work 12 hours for 25 days in a month you would make 12,000 at the lowest level… ummm,” another shared.

“If you do the same job in a Western country, you will be paid at least ten times more. Our country is doomed. As long as income inequality persists, we will go nowhere,” commented a third.
