Delhi University 2024: Schedule for upcoming rounds of admissions to undergraduate courses

Delhi University has announced a detailed schedule for the upcoming rounds of allotments in undergraduate programmes under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for the academic year 2024-25.

In the second round, 75,083 students were confirmed to have been admitted and 29,344 opted to upgrade. In addition, it was reported that 41,885 students opted to freeze their places.

Those selected in Round II were given time until 11.59 pm on August 30 to pay their admission fees to be eligible for an upgrade in the next round.

Update window

In his latest announcement, The university sIt helps candidates admitted in rounds I and II to be eligible to opt for an upgrade in higher preferences through the Upgrade Window. In addition, they can re-rank Program-Faculty combinations with a higher ranking than the one assigned.

If you have been assigned a higher place, the candidate’s admission will be processed at university level and you will have to pay the differential fees, if applicable. Admissions to Upgraded seats will only be considered complete once fares have been paid.

Please note that the upgrade window will open at 5:00 pm on August 31 and close at 4:59 pm on September 1. Candidates who have been admitted in Round I and Round II will still be eligible to upgrade to a higher preference during this period.

On September 3, the enhanced allocations along with the results of Round I for Performance Based Programmes as well as CW, ECA and Sports and Wards quotas will be declared at 5 pm

Candidates will be able to accept their assigned places until 4:59 p.m. on September 4. After that, universities will begin verifying and approving online applications.

To pay for your ticket online, the deadline is 6 September at 4:59 p.m.

In its official programming, The university has implemented a provision called Mid-Entry that allows candidates who did not apply to CSAS in Phase I and Phase II to reapply, among other things. The Mid-Entry window will be open from 5:00 p.m. on September 7 to 4:59 p.m. on September 9.

Average entry

In its official notification, University of Delhiand has included the Mid-Entry provision that allows candidates who did not apply for CSAS in Phases I and II to reapply, in addition to other provisions.

The window for this option will open at 5 p.m. on September 7 and will remain available until 4:59 p.m. on September 9.

Allocation for Round III

Depending on the submissions, the results for the third round of allocations will be announced at 5 pm on September 9.

The cut-off points and ranges in this round will have no relation to previous rounds, so no complaints related to this will be entertained.
