Disha Patani wears a churidar kurta set
DishThe ‘s kurta churidar set belongs to Punit Balana’s ethnic wear collection and consists of a kurta, churidar pants, and a dupatta. The sleeveless black kurti features intricate gold embroidery on the yoke, a backless design with tassel-embellished dori bows, a plunging neckline, side slits, a fitted cut, and a calf-length hem.
Meanwhile, Disha’s churidar pants feature golden sequin embellishments, yoke and zari embroidery on the calves, adding a stop-and-stare appeal to the entire look. She completed the attire draping a heavily embroidered chiffon dupatta over the shoulder with tassels at the edges.
For accessories, Disha opted for embroidered black velvet juttis, a statement gold ring, kadhas and jhumkis. Lastly, a side-parted loose mane and a minimalist glamour, which included pink tinted lips, rouged cheeks, outlined brows and glowing skin, gave the finishing touches to the ethnic look.
Priyanka Chopra’s churidar look
Earlier, Priyanka Chopra also sported a churidar kurta set while attending the promotions of her Marathi film Paani. The sleeveless floral embroidered kurti, churidar pants and zari dupatta were from Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection. She paired the Y2K-inspired ensemble with dangling earrings, open-toed mules, rings and statement glam. Disha and Priyanka’s outfits prove that churidars are back!
