Naturally, Cassidy will perform a song for Texas that features Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, Destiny’s daughter who was born and raised in Houston. Her song “Freedom” serves as the campaign’s theme song. But instead of asking Harris to sing “Freedom,” Texas delegates will hear Cassidy play Beyoncé’s country song “Texas Hold ‘Em.”
