Donald Trump reacted to the governor of Minnesota Tim WalzJeff’s brother’s criticism of Kamala Harris. The former president shared a photo of the New York Post’s cover story on Truth Social, highlighting Jeff’s comments against his brother and the Democratic candidate, and referred to Jeff as “a good guy.”
Trump’s reaction comes a day after the NY Post quoted Jeff Walz He said he is “one hundred percent” opposed to his brother’s ideology and warned that Tim Walz is “not the type of person” who should be making decisions about the future of the country.
“I am 100 percent opposed to his entire ideology,” Jeff Walz said, according to the New York Post. The outlet added that Jeff is also considering publicly supporting Donald Trump.
Reacting to Jeff’s criticism of the Harris-Walz ticket, Trump wrote: “He seems like a really cool guy!”
Tim Walz also has a sister, Sandy Dietrich, 63, who lives in Nebraska, where his family grew up. Another brother, Craig, died in 2016. Jeff has reportedly not spoken to the Minnesota governor in eight years.
“My family was not notified that he was selected,” Jeff Walz said. His old Facebook posts have gone viral. Right-wing activist Laura Loomer uncovered a post the eldest Walz brother wrote on March 30, 2023, the day a Manhattan grand jury indicted Trump in the hush money case.
“We just became a third-world banana republic,” he wrote. Jeff is a registered Republican. He donated $20 to Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, according to Federal Election Commission records. Jeff Walz told The Post on Saturday: “I’m not doing interviews.”
