Elon Musk: Elon Musk closes X’s operations in Brazil “with immediate effect”

Media platform unknown said on Saturday that it would close its operations in Brazil “with immediate effect” due to what he called “censorship orders” by Brazilian judge Alexandre de Moraes.

X claims Moraes secretly threatened one of his legal representatives in Brazil with arrest if he did not comply with legal orders to remove some content from his platform. Brazil’s Supreme Court, where Moraes sits, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
