Elon Musk’s transgender daughter slams billionaire, says she’s ‘desperate for attention and validation’

The ongoing feud between the two became public when the SpaceX boss stated in an interview that his daughter was “killed” by an “awake mind virus.” He further claimed that he had been tricked into allowing his “biological son” to start taking puberty blockers. During a conversation with psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson, Musk commented, “I lost my son, basically. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead.”
Musk then expanded on his opinion of X, mentioning that Xavier was “born gay and slightly autistic,” traits he associated with gender dysphoria. He claimed to have noticed these characteristics early on, recounting moments from Wilson’s childhood, but insisted, “He was not a girl.”
Wilson, who legally changed her name and distanced herself from Musk in 2022, responded to these comments on Threads. “There are a lot of things I need to debunk and I will, don’t worry, but I want to start with what I find the funniest, which is the famous ‘slightly autistic’ tweet. This is going to be a little long so bear with me,” she wrote.
Wilson expressed disbelief at Musk’s claim about his autism, calling it “totally false.” Wilson also criticized his father for being absent during his upbringing, accusing him of making up stories to get attention and validation.
The rift between the two is long-standing, with Wilson revealing in an interview with NBC that she has had no contact with Musk for about four years. She described her father as “cold, uncaring and narcissistic,” and recalled a particularly harsh memory from her childhood in which he criticized her for her voice during a road trip, which she later discovered was a promotional event for one of his cars.
Wilson, now 20 and a college student, stressed her independence, saying, “My life should be defined by my own decisions.” Despite having remained out of the public eye for much of her life, her strained relationship with Musk has come to light following his recent comments.
