Former Indian opener Shikar Dhawan ‘Gabbar’ On 24 August, he announced his retirement from international and domestic cricket after a memorable career.

Announcing his retirementThe 38-year-old took to Instagram and posted a video message. In the message, he said, “It is important to turn the page to move forward in life and that is why I am announcing my retirement from international and domestic cricket.”
He added: “I am leaving with a peaceful heart for having played for India for so long. I tell myself not to feel sad for not playing for India anymore, but to feel happy for having played for my country.”
