Farmer Identity Card: The central government will soon give out a new ID card to the farmers in the coming times. This ID card will be similar to the Aadhar card. Registration for this will begin soon. After registration, farmers will be given a unique ID, like the Aadhar card.
Let us tell you that due to this unique ID, various schemes of the agriculture sector will reach the farmers without any hassle. This ID will also help in checking the MSP price of crops and Kisan Credit Card Scheme.
At present, to avail the benefits of any scheme, farmers have to examine the documents before applying. This not only wastes the time of the farmers but also costs them money. Along with this, they also have to face problems. To overcome this problem, the government will collect information from the farmers.
Construction work could begin in the first week of October.
It is said that camps will be organised across the country to provide these identity cards to farmers. Agriculture Secretary Devesh Chaturvedi had recently given this information. Devesh Chaturvedi also told the media that the guidelines for the registration process will be released soon and the work will begin in the first week of October. After its construction, farmers will not have to run door to door to avail the benefits of the schemes.
