Lauren Tickner, chief executive of a British marketing company, has sparked heated discussion after revealing she denied an employee’s request for two days off to attend her own wedding. The controversy unfolded when Tickner shared his side of the story on Threads, explaining his decision and the company’s policy on flexible time off.
