According to the report by news agency ANI, Bahraich DFO Ajit Pratap Singh said that we are doing a new experiment to trap the man-eating wolf. He said that pre-recorded sounds of cries and screams of the she-wolf are played on the loudspeaker. The sound is neither too loud nor too slow. It has been preserved solely to make it sound like a real she-wolf. The department says that it is possible that the man-eating wolf could get caught in the trap after hearing the fake cry of the she-wolf.

Forest officer Ajit Singh said a wolf had attacked and killed a pet goat at Sisaiya Churamani village in Mahsi tehsil on Tuesday. The Forest Department has said there is terror of wolves in an area of 20 to 25 km.
