‘Fireball Found’: NASA Astronaut Matthew Dominick Captures ‘Shooting Star’

NASA astronaut Matthew Dominick is back in the spotlight for his latest video, which captures a bright green meteor exploding in Earth’s night sky. The commander of SpaceX’s Crew-8 mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS) shared a new series of time-lapse photos.

On social media platform X, Matthew Dominick wrote: “I showed this to a couple of friends yesterday to see what they thought.” He added: “They both thought it was a meteor exploding in the atmosphere. A pretty bright one called a bolide..”
