Fourth list released for B.Ed admission, no candidates found for 260 seats, Career News

The fourth admission list in B.Ed and two-year Education in Bihar was released on Tuesday. According to the fourth list, candidates will be eligible for admission till September 18. State Nodal Officer Prof. Ashok Kumar Mehta said that by confirming their seats between September 11 and 17, candidates will be eligible for admission till September 18. If the candidate does not take admission in the allotted institute, his claim will be cancelled. The state nodal officer said that after the three-phase process is over, the institute has been allotted 6,358 candidates against a total of 6,618 seats. During counselling, candidates will have to reach the allotted institute with all certificates. A college allotment letter, CET-B.Ed admit card, receipt of partial fee deposit of Rs 3,000 and certificates related to educational qualification will be required.

Marksheets and certificates, CLC and four passport-sized photographs will be required. Apart from this, if required, residential, caste, EWS and disabled candidates will be required to produce a PWD certificate. It is necessary for the candidate to have a registered mobile or email at the time of admission as their admission process will be completed only after receiving the OTP.

Let us tell you that out of 1 lakh 80 thousand 350 candidates who were successful in CET-B.Ed, 1 lakh 16 thousand 817 candidates have registered for counselling and admission. Out of 37 thousand 300 seats in 341 institutes out of a total of 14 universities in the state, 18 thousand 779 seats were admitted from the first list, 8 thousand 181 from the second list and 3 thousand 722 from the third list. After conducting three phases, admission of a total of 30 thousand 682 seats has been done. After the admission of the fourth list, one round of admission can be conducted for the vacant seats.

No candidates found for 260 seats

No candidates have been found for 260 two-year B.Ed. seats. Due to this, these seats have not been allotted in the fourth list. According to the information received from the State Nodal Office, no candidates have selected for 260 seats in six faculties of Maulana Mazharul Haq Persian-Arabic University, Patna, so these seats are likely to remain vacant at present.
