Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Roorkee has postponed the registration process for GATE 2025 examination. The registration for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2025, which was scheduled to begin from August 24, has been postponed and will now begin on August 28, 2024. Candidates who want to apply for GATE examination, the direct link to apply will be available on IIT GATE at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

According to the revised scheduleThe deadline for the regular online application/registration process without a late fee is September 26, 2024. The last deadline for the extended online application/registration process with a late fee is October 7, 2024.
There is no change in the dates of GATE 2025 exams. The exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 15 and 16 February 2025 in two sessions – morning and afternoon. The exam will be computer-based and will consist of 30 papers. GATE 2025 exams will be conducted in English and will be completely objective in nature.
Candidates can appear for one or two exams only. The two exam combinations must be chosen from the list available on the official website.

Click on the GATE 2025 registration link available on the homepage.
The application fee is ₹900/- for female/SC/ST/PwD category candidates for regular period and ₹1400/- for long term. For other candidates, the application fee is ₹1800/- per regular period and ₹2300/- for extended period. For more details, candidates can refer to the official website of GATE.
