According to the application submitted to the SP, there was a love affair between Phoolmuni, who had passed intermediate from a school in Dumka, and Philip, a resident of Kodalchhola under Kathikund police station area, for the past one year. On September 10, Philip had gone to his girlfriend’s house in Dhamanchipa along with his village head and his father Shyam Marandi. According to mother Dulari, after bidding farewell to his daughter Phoolmuni in the presence of everyone, Philip took her to his house in Kodalchhola. On September 15, the girl’s family received information about a sudden deterioration in their daughter’s health. According to the petition, when Phulmuni’s family reached Kodalchhola, they found their daughter Phulmuni dead with spots on her face and bleeding from her nose. It was alleged that the body was buried without giving any information and without conducting the post-mortem. The girl’s mother has accused her daughter of murder and has demanded that action be taken by conducting a post-mortem on the body. In this regard, Station House Officer Tripurari Kumar said that the matter is under investigation. The police are busy investigating the matter.
