The Sebi chairman declined to answer questions on the Hindenburg report.

On August 10, US short-seller Hindenburg Research published a report alleging that the Sebi chairwoman and her husband Dhaval Buch previously had investments in offshore funds also used by the Adani group, allegations the couple categorically denied.
