– Sebi has started working on a standard application programming interface (API) for exchanges and depositories.
– The technology will also be used by performance validation agencies.
– Sebi works on data benchmarking
– He is working on more than a dozen technologies driven by Artificial Intelligence.
– The goal is to improve surveillance and processing through AI.
– Sebi has received suggestions from around 6,000 people on the recent consultation paper on derivatives (F&O) segment
– Technology has enabled faster processing of massive amounts of feedback.
– The goal is to improve compliance through the use of technology.
The Sebi chairman declined to answer questions on the Hindenburg report.
On August 10, US short-seller Hindenburg Research published a report alleging that the Sebi chairwoman and her husband Dhaval Buch previously had investments in offshore funds also used by the Adani group, allegations the couple categorically denied.
