An Indian woman claimed she faced… racism while attending a music festival in Albania. A video that went viral on social media shows Dr Pranoti Kshirsagar sharing her ordeal on microblogging site X, evoking sympathy from netizens. Dr Kshirsagar was attending a Jason Derulo concert in Tirana, Albania. In the video, she recounts: “I was waiting in line, and a group of four girls came up, cut in line, and when I pointed it out, I was repeatedly told to go back to my country.”

She added: “They laughed, called me their mother and made other comments.”

Dr. Kshirsagar ended the video with a sarcastic comment: “I feel very welcome, Albania. Good job, thank you very much.”

The video was originally posted on TikTok by Dr Kshirsagar and has since garnered over 2.5 million views on X. The comments section has sparked a divided response among netizens.

One user commented: “The fact that she feels entitled to complain about the country she is a guest in… these women are insufferable.”

Another user wrote: “Albania is one of the most racist countries in the world.”

A third user noted: “This is ironic because Albanians complain of discrimination and racism when trying to immigrate to the EU and UK.”

Another comment read: “Please come back! Help your own communities instead of coming here and destroying ours!”
