Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL with Tensor G4 chip launched, starting at ₹79,999

Google has launched its flagship Pixel 9 lineup, equipped with the Tensor G4 chipset and many powerful improvements related to Gemini artificial intelligence. The Pixel 9 lineup is the first smartphone to come with the Gemini Nano and Satellite SOS multi-mode model.

Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL Price in India:

He Pixel 9 The variant comes with 12GB RAM/256GB storage and is priced at 79,999. The latest Pixel device will be available in 4 colour variants – Peony, Porcelain, Obsidian and Wintergreen and will be available on Flipkart, Croma and Reliance Digital starting August 22.

Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL feature 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and are priced at 1,09,999 and 1,24,999 respectively. Both models will be launched in four finishes: Hazel, Porcelain, Rose Quartz and Obsidian.

Pixel 9 specs:

The Pixel 9 features a 6.3-inch Actua OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels and a peak brightness of 2700 nits. The phone has a variable refresh rate of 120Hz and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on both the front and back. As mentioned above, the Pixel 9 is powered by the Tensor G4 processor and also features a Titan M2 security chip.

As for optics, the Pixel 9 has a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP wide-angle lens with up to 8x Super-Res zoom and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There’s also a 10.5MP dual PD sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.

It comes with a 4,700mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging (adapter sold separately). The Pixel 9 runs Android 14, and like last year, Google is promising 7 years of security and OS updates with the Pixel 9 lineup. All 3 phones are also IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.

The Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are basically the same phone, with the display size being the differentiating factor. The Pixel 9 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Meanwhile, the Pixel 9 Pro has a larger 6.8-inch Super Actua LTPO display with the same 3,000 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection as its sibling.

In terms of optics, both the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL feature a triple camera setup with a 50MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 30x Super-Res Zoom. The selfie camera gets a major upgrade over the standard version, as the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL come with a 42MP Dual PD shooter.

He Pixel 9 Pro It comes with the same 4,700mAh battery as the standard Pixel 9, while the 9 Pro XL has a slightly larger 5,060mAh battery.
