Government clinics open in all districts, incentives for IT sector and concessions for hotels

Rourkela. State Minister for Health, Family Welfare, Electronics, Information Technology and Parliamentary Affairs Mukesh Mahaling arrived in Rourkela on the invitation of the Rourkela Hotels and Restaurants Association. The association expressed its happiness over the responsibilities entrusted to it in the government. The association demanded opening of neighbourhood clinics to reduce overcrowding in the main hospital. The association said that due to better treatment at the Rourkela Government Hospital, patients from Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are also coming here for treatment. The association also requested to connect all the people of the state with the Odisha government’s BSKY scheme. Similarly, in Odisha, Rourkela holds a special place in the field of education, but due to the capital Bhubaneswar, Rourkela did not get special recognition in the field of IT. Big companies are moving to Bhubaneswar. Therefore, every company should have an office in Rourkela as well. The Odisha government had recently approved the construction of a big building along with the land, so now the focus of IT companies should be on Rourkela as well, so that Rourkela can have an all-round development.

The department should grant NOC and license as per the requirements.
