Goyal discusses ways to increase investments with leading Singapore companies

Goyal in Singapore: Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Sunday discussed ways to increase investments with global business leaders in Singapore such as Temasek Holdings, DBS Bank, OMERS, Keppal Infrastructure and TVS Motor Company.

“The meetings included key discussions to explore and enhance investment opportunities between India and Singapore, focusing on mutual growth and collaboration in various sectors,” the Commerce Ministry said in a statement.

In a post on X on Sunday after the meeting, Goyal said they discussed the group’s plans to “increase investments in India,” including increasing engagement with the small and medium-sized enterprise sector.

“Furthermore, it was explored how stakeholders from diverse sectors in India and Singapore can come together to identify synergies and create opportunities to chart a mutually beneficial path forward,” Goyal said.
