Green hydrogen: Attracting startups is needed to boost green hydrogen, says Pralhad Joshi

New and Minister of Renewable Energy Pralhad Joshi on Wednesday stressed the need to bring Startups within the green hydrogen sector to contribute new ideas and involve youthSpeaking at the inaugural event at the second International Green Hydrogen Conference India 2024, Joshi said there will be over 120 exhibitors at the event which is scheduled to take place from September 11 to 13, 2024 in Delhi.

He said that to boost the green hydrogen mission, we need to attract new companies as young blood and new ideas are needed.

The event is aimed at promoting the green hydrogen mission for which the government had allocated Rs 19,744 crore.

There will be more than 120 stalls in the exhibition on green hydrogen products and technologies.

There will be more than 150 national and international speakers.

The European Union, Australia, Singapore and the Netherlands will be regions of interest and there will be sessions on them.

The event is being organised by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in association with the Chief Scientist Office, Government of India.

The event partners are Ficci and Solar Energy Corporation of India.
