Vishwakarma Puja 2024: According to Hindu mythology, God Vishwakarma is the seventh son of God Brahma, who helped the latter create the universe. It is believed that before the creation of the world, craftsmen and engineers were born.
The birthday of Vishwakarma Jayanti or Vishwakarma Puja is celebrated in commemoration of the divine architect. Vishwakarma puja is celebrated every year in the month of Bhadrapad and is mostly celebrated on 16th or 17th September. This year, Kanya Sankranti falls on 16th September, so Vishwakarma Jayanti or Vishwakarma Puja will also be celebrated on this day.
